President's Message Happy March!
We got a taste of all the seasons so far this month. Hopefully we have fewer snowy days and more days like 70+ days going forward! Chapter events are well underway. There was a great turnout at the Topgolf event that was rescheduled to last month. The Indoor Golf League has been busy playing courses around the worm on the simulator. Its a close competition as we are coming down to the end. Our Rules of Golf event will be held on Wednesday, March 18th at the Haverford Township Community Center.
The Chapter is returning to Downingtown Country Club for our Tee Off Event on Saturday April 25th. We will start the day with breakfast at 8:30 that includes a short program followed by golf tee times starting at 11am. The event will cover events and leagues for the 2026 season along with other Chapter updates!
League registration will be available in early April. You will receive more information on how to register once registration is open. Seventeen ladies enjyed our annual Topgolf event held on Saturday, February 21st in King of Prussia. The weather was one of the few nicer days we've had this winter. It was especially nice to swing the club and enjoy some fresh air just before the blizzard!

Happy February!
It's hard to believe that we will be playing golf on green grass and in warmer weather in a few months with all this snow. Hopefully the snow melts soon and we get a few warmer days for winter golf before spring fully arrives. Until then, the Chapter organized a few winter activities to keep us all thinking about golf. The Indoor Golf League is well under way and the group has enjoyed getting to swing clubs and getting together. We postponed the original date for our January Topgolf event due to the bitter cold. The new date is February 21st and a few spots may still be available. Our Rules of Golf event will be held on Wednesday, March 18th at the Haverford Township Community Center. This is a free event for members and prospective members. We will go over hot topics in the rules of golf and some handicap basics. It is a fun night to brush up on golf rules and see other Chapter members! More information is below.

President's Message Happy January and 2026! I hope everyone had a happy and healthy holiday season!
2026 will be another great year for the Philadelphia Chapter! Be sure to complete your 2026 LPGA Amateurs renewal. You can renew in the Member Clubhouse under My Profiles and Overview. Returning members should have also received an email with instructions.
The Chapter’s first 2026 event will be at TopGolf King of Prussia on Saturday, January 24th from 10:00 – 1:00. There are still a few open spots if you are interested in attending. Keep an eye on your inbox and the chapter’s website for information on our Rules of Golf and the Chapter’s Tee Off events later this spring.
The Chapter will return to Golf Galaxy for its winter Indoor Golf League. The league is full but if you are interested in being a substitute, you can reach out to Sharon Primerano. Information about our weeknight leagues will be available closer to our Tee Off event. You will receive an email with instructions on how to register.
I am looking forward to seeing you all out on the course this year!

President's Message Happy December!
It was wonderful to celebrate the holidays with members at our Holiday Party at Will’s and Bill’s on December 11th. Thank you to everyone who came out!
Your chapter board is busy planning for the 2026 golf season. To help the board better plan chapter events we are asking members to complete a short 7 question survey. It should take you less than 5 minutes to complete. The survey link is below. We appreciate your feedback!
We will start the New Year by returning to TopGolf in January followed by Rules Events in February or March. The events committee is hard at work scheduling our monthly golf events and has a great calendar put together. Keep an eye on your email as we head into the new year for more information about winter events and our tee off event in April.

The LPGA Amateur Golf Association – Philadelphia Area Chapter is excited to host our
Topgolf Winter Social!
All play will commence at 10am. A breakfast brunch and non-alcoholic beverages is included in the registration fee. We have reserved our own climate-controlled hitting bays with a maximum capacity of 6 golfers per bay. This is a fun opportunity to hone our golf skills while playing some games with Topgolf’s micro-chipped balls.
While all hitting bays are climate controlled and perfect for year round comfort, make sure you wear comfortable, warm gear when you aren't up at bay or sitting underneath a cozy heater.
Topgolf offers the use of complimentary golf clubs, but feel free to bring your own. If you haven't been to a Topgolf yet, check out our Course Info page for more details.
Additional information and reminders will be sent to all registered participants on Thursday-Friday prior to the event.

Happy November and start of the holiday season.
Pennsylvania's handicap active season closed on November 15th. If you are playing down South or other warmer places, remember to pay attention to their active golf season for posting handicap scores.
2025 was a great year for our Chapter! We had strong turnout at our monthly events which we celebrated at our Season Closer event at Spring Hollow on October 18th. Prizes for the day and Season Long competitions were awarded. Congratulations to all our winners! A big thank you to Brandy Melewsky who participated in the most events this season!
As we near the end of the year, it is time to renew your LPGA Amateurs Membership. Current members should have received an email from LPGA National with a renewal link. If you cannot find the link, you can renew it through the LPGA Amateurs Member Clubhouse.
Your Chapter Board has been busy planning for 2026. We will start the year with our Indoor League at Golf Galaxy and Topgolf in January. We will be returning to some chapter favorites along with some new courses for events in 2026. It should be another great year for golf!
The Chapter is always looking for feedback and suggestions. A survey link will go out in December. Please take five minutes to complete the survey and help the board better serve our members. Fresh ideas and voices are important to keep our chapter growing. If you are interested in joining a committee in 2026, you can reach out to a board member or include a message in the survey. There are opportunities to help with one event or to be involved throughout the season with events, membership and other areas.

President's Message
Happy October! The Philadelphia Chapter hosted our Season End event at Spring Hollow on October 18th. It was a beautiful day for golf followed by a lively luncheon afterwards. Prizes for the day, season long and the White Manor league were presented. Congratulations to all our winners at events, leagues and season long awards! A big thank you to our events committee for all their work in planning and executing such a great season! Also, thank you to everyone who participated in our leagues and chapter events!As we head into the winter months, your Chapter Board will stay busy planning and preparing for the 2026 golf season. A survey will go out in November asking for feedback. At the local level, LPGA Amateurs is volunteer run. We are always looking for suggestions and new ideas for events or activities. The current Board is slated to return in 2026. There are opportunities to join committees and help contribute to our chapter’s success. If you are interested in helping, please send an email to info@lpgaamateursphiladelphia.com or talk to one of our board members.

The Monday night White Manor League concluded at the end of August. Due to a later start time, we finished our last round in the semi-dark but made it a lot of fun by using glow in the dark golf balls, supplied by the league.
Although we missed a few rounds due to rain we had quite a few people who showed up every week. The league would like to recognize the following players who consistently showed up. These players attended 8 or more Monday nights, as measured by entering a score for that night.

As part of our weekly activities, Golf Genius also runs a contest to help us determine a season long winner. Points are awarded based on attendance and scoring based on Net Scores. We would like to recognize the following three top finishers:
Judy Simone – 3rd with 124 Points will receive $25 cash
Silva Santerian – Second with 126 Points will receive $50 cash or gift card
And our Season long winner of Net Weekly Points is Becca Proetta with 128 points. Becca receives a trophy and a $75 Cash Gift

Happy September!
So far we’ve seen a pleasant start to the Fall with some beautiful days for playing golf. Last weekend our chapter hosted our September event at Riverwinds in South Jersey. This is a chapter favorite course, and we had a great day of golf! The chapter will host our Season Closer at Spring Hollow on Saturday, October 18th. We will start the morning with registration and an 8 am shotgun start. After golf, we will gather for a barbecue lunch to celebrate winners from the day and from throughout the season. Keep watching the newsletters for social events throughout late fall and winter!
Our two weeknight leagues wrapped up in August. Thank you to our league coordinators, Kasey Lucard and Pat Dollinger at PineCre st and Alison Nagle and Judy Simone at White Manor. These four did a wonderful job running the leagues and we appreciate all your hard work!
As we enter the fall golf season, keep in mind the active positing season for your handicap. The active season goes through November 14th. If you are playing down south or somewhere else warm, you should check their posting season.

Pinecrest League Recap 
The year started Wednesday, April 30, 2025, with a practice round and then the weekly competitions using the Modified Stableford Scoring system to determine each week’s winners.
The season ended on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, with an ABCD 4-person team scramble, 2 Closest To Pin winners, dinner and drinks, and an award ceremony for the 2025 LPGA-AM Philadelphia - Pinecrest Cup League Champion!!
What a great season we had!!! Unfortunately, we had a slow start with rainy weather for 3 weeks on Wednesday nights! Mother Nature still did not let up with nasty weather on our last 2 Wednesday nights! Another week, a group was unable to finish because of thunder, lightning and then rain!
The LPGA-Amateur PineCrest League has a fantastic group of ladies who are willing to play in all kinds of nasty weather! Three participants played in the rain during the final week of Stableford points for the 2025 PineCrest Cup, which determined the overall winner.
There was fierce competition throughout the season for the coveted PineCrest Cup! However, the 2025 LPGA-AM Philadelphia - PineCrest Cup Champion went to Nikki Costante who acquired 178 points of spectacular golf even with canceling 4 rounds because of weather!!!
The End of Year Scramble winners are Nikki Costante, Kristen O’Reilly, Laura Slowik and Diane Joyce posting a fabulous 34 Gross and 17 Net!!! Great playing ladies!!!
The two CTP winners are: Hole 11 – Beth Conduit - 6'10" & Hole 15 – Kathy Collins - 14'5". Great shots ladies!!!

Events update We have now concluded 5 events for our 2025 golf season! Thanks to everyone who has come out so far. There are still two opportunities left - Riverwinds on September 13th and our season ending event at Spring Hollow on October 18th.
On July 26th, we held our rescheduled Bucks Club event with the Central New Jersey chapter. It was a hot day but not unbearable. We really enjoyed meeting some new friends from Central New Jersey and also playing the Bucks Club course. The staff at Bucks Club are especially accommodating and we appreciated that very much.
For our game we did a Stableford format and winners were as follows:

On August 2nd, we held our always popular Mystery Bus event. We loaded up a very nice coach bus and traveled to Iron Valley Golf Club in Lebanon, PA. Weather was absolutely gorgeous along with the dramatic views at the golf course. We had a fun putting contest to start the day where everyone took home a nice prize - ranging from a bottle of Dewars to a nice LPGA Amateurs travel bag. Please consider joining us for Mystery Bus next year!
For our game, we counted Fairways, Greens in Regulation and Out of the Sand in One. Winners were:

Happy July! Rainy weather has kept many of us off the golf course the past few weeks. The Chapter lucked out with a beautiful day to head up to the Poconos and play Jack Frost on July 12th. The weather and views were fantastic. We gathered afterwards and enjoyed spending time with members of our neighboring chapters who attended as well.
On Saturday July 26th, the Chapter will head back to Bucks Club. On Saturday August 2nd, the Mystery Bus will drive us to a surprise course for a fun day of golf and time with fellow chapter members. This has been a Chapter favorite event for many years. If you have not signed up yet, the registration link is below!
Somehow we’ve reached the middle of the summer already. Your Chapter Board and Events Committee are planning for the fall. We will head to Riverwinds on Saturday, September 13th. For our Season Ending Event, we will head to Spring Hollow on October 18th. We will start the day with a morning shotgun start for golf followed by lunch where we will award season long prizes. Save the date for both events!
It has been wonderful to see so many familiar and new faces at our events so far this season! I am looking forward to our remaining events and crossing my fingers for dryer weeknights for league golf!

JACK FROST FUN Jack Frost Outing
We had a wonderful outing at Jack Frost in the Poconos on Saturday, July 12th. We did not get rained on at all! 19 ladies joined in the fun including a few from the Poconos and Lehigh Valley chapters. Thanks to Lisa Turner for organizing the tee times for us.
For our game at Jack Frost, we played Bingo Bango Bongo and awarded prizes to the top five points-getters. Winners were:

President's Message Welcome June! Golf season is well underway for our Chapter. Both leagues started in April and hopefully the rain will hold off on league nights as we get further into the summer. Leagues are still open for new participants. If you haven’t registered for a league yet and are interested in joining either White Manor on Mondays or Pinecrest on Wednesday, please see our chapter website for instructions on how to register.
This newsletter will go out the day of our chapter event Honeybrook. I’m sure it was a great day as Honeybrook is a Chapter favorite event! Next, the Chapter will return to the Poconos on July 12th for our Jack Frost event. Members enjoyed this course a couple summers ago and mid-summer is a great time to head north for hopefully cooler golf weather. Information on Jack Frost and the August Mystery Bus Event will be sent out soon. Watch your emails and newsletters for links to register!
As a general handicap reminder, please make sure you are posting your scores timely (same day you played). Timely posting impacts your playing handicap for your next round especially if you are playing on back to back days. Hope to see you all on the golf course soon!

President's Message Happy May and Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms and grandmoms in our chapter! April was a busy month for the Philadelphia Chapter. The Chapter hosted its tee off event at Downingtown Country Club on April 26th. It was great to see so many familiar faces and new members at the event. We enjoyed a nice breakfast followed by a presentation going over the 2025 calendar of events and our weeknight leagues. Most of our group braved the rain showers for a fun round of golf afterwards.
The White Manor Monday night league and the Pinecrest Wednesday night league both kicked off their seasons the last week of April. You can still register for either league and guests are welcome to try leagues twice before becoming a member of the Philadelphia Chapter. You can read more about leagues and how to register on our Chapter Website.
We unfortunately had to cancel our May 4th event at Bucks Club due to the weather. We are hoping to plan a future event back at Bucks Club. The Lehigh Valley LPGA Chapter Invitational is returning again on Friday, June 6th. A number of members from our chapter have played in this event over the years and had a fantastic time. Information is available on our website.
The Chapter will be returning to Honeybrook, a member favorite, on Saturday June 14th. This event is open to members and guests. A guest is not required to participate but are welcome. Continue to watch our Website and newsletters for upcoming events and registration links.

President's Message Happy April! With the turn of the calendar on April 1st, the active handicap posting season started in PA. The chilly start to the month has made it not feel like golf weather but we are official in golf season! April brings our first Chapter golf event of the season, Chapter Tee Off at Downingtown Country Club on Saturday, April 26th. The day will start with brunch and an overview of what the Chapter Board and League Coordinators have planned for the 2025 season followed by tee times for golf. The following weekend, Sunday May 4th, the chapter will head to the Bucks Club in Jamison, PA for a joint event with Central New Jersey. See the links below to register for these events.
Weeknight leagues will kick off in the last week of April. Our Monday night league at White Manor Country Club in Malvern, PA will start on Monday, April 28th. The Wednesday night league at Pinecrest in Lansdale, PA will start Wednesday, April 30th. The White Manor league will host a virtual league orientation on Tuesday April 22nd at 7:00. A link to register will be in the White Manor league registration portal. The ladies league at Spring Hollow will be run directly by Spring Hollow this season. You can learn more about how to sign up to participate in that league on Spring Hollow’s website.
An email with registration information and links for the White Manor and Pinecrest leagues will follow this communication and will be posted on our chapter website. Please read the instructions on how to register for the leagues. Everyone, even returning league members, must register for the league each year. We welcome guests to try out our leagues twice before we ask that they become a member of the LPGA Amateurs Philadelphia Chapter! Guests, which include those who have not renewed their membership yet, will need to contact the league coordinators directly to sign up for tee times since they will not have access to do this on their own. We will cover league registration at the tee off event and can help with registration questions in person.
On Wednesday, April 9th, the Chapter hosted a virtual handicap seminar. The slides from that event are available at the link below. Our Chapter is a handicap service provider and we offer handicap services to Philadelphia Chapter Members. Handicap service must be renewed annually. If you are interested in obtaining a handicap through the Chapter, please read more and sign up below. 2024 Chapter Members with a Chapter Handicap who have not renewed their handicap for the 2025 season by early May will be removed and their handicaps will no longer be active. Be sure to renew today!

Spring Hollow Information 2025

Starting in the 2025 golf season, the Spring Hollow Ladies League will be run directly by Spring Hollow. You can learn more about the league and how to sign up on Spring Hollow's website. It's a fun course and wonderful restaurant to gather before or after golf. We highly recommend participating if the league fits your schedule. You do not need to be a member of the LPGA Amateurs Philadelphia Chapter to participate in the Spring Hollow League.

Happy March!
It is starting to feel and look like golf season with the spring flowers peeking out of the ground. In February, the chapter hosted a Rules Social to refresh participants on common rules and situations we all find ourselves in on the golf course. If you missed the event or are looking to review the rules, you can watch the video playlist from the event here. The Rules Corner in the LPGA Amateurs Website Members Club House provides additional resources and you always go straight to the source and review rules on USGA's website. The USGA's YouTube Channel has great videos and Shorts that give examples of how to implement the rules of golf. Earlier this month, the LPGA Amateurs Philadelphia Chapter's indoor league at Golf Galaxy wrapped up. The league was a great way to start swinging clubs earlier in the year and get to "play" incredible courses from around the world. We hope to bring the league back in 2026 if you are interested in participating next year. Looking forward, the Chapter is returning to Downingtown Country Club for our Tee Off Event on Saturday, April 26th. Brunch will start at 8:30 and will include an update from the Chapter Board on what the Chapter has planned for 2025. Chapter League information will also be presented and 2025 League Registration Links will be distributed closer to the Tee Off Event. The Event Coordinators have put together a fantastic calendar for 2025! Thank you to the events committee and all the board members for their hard work! I hope to see you at Tee Off or out on the golf course soon!

Welcome to February! The Eagles' victory made for an exciting start to February!
The Chapter held our first event at Topgolf in January. This event has become a fixture in our winter calendar and is always a great time! Read more about the event below. The Chapter's next event is a Rules Seminar on Tuesday, February 18th. We will return to Downingtown Country Club for our Tee Off Event on April 26th. Registration will be available in early March. League information will be shared in the coming weeks and league registration will start closer to April.

Eleven ladies joined in for our annual January TopGolf event - our second year in a row at King of Prussia. Game winners were Susan Stinson, Sharon Primerano and Rita Gilson
While it was quite cold that day, we stayed very warm in the bays due to the powerful heaters and heated furniture. We also had a terrific breakfast buffet and great service from the TopGolf staff. If you've never joined us for this event, please consider it next year.

President's Message Welcome to 2025! I hope you all had a happy and healthy holiday season with your families and friends.
There was a great turnout at the Chapter Holiday Party at Bahama Breeze in December. It was a fun evening catching up with fellow members away from the golf course. Thank you to everyone who completed the Chapter Participation Survey. The board will use this information to help us make decisions to better serve our chapter members and we appreciate your input.
The first Philadelphia Chapter event of 2025 is Topgolf on Saturday, January 25th from 10am -1pm. There is still time to sign up and you can register here. After the Topgolf event, the Chapter will aim to host an event per month. We will have social events in February and March covering rules and handicap. We will return to Downingtown Country Club for our Tee Off Event on Saturday, April 26th. More information on these events and the rest of our 2025 events will be sent out and posted to our website.
Chapter weekly leagues started early this year with an indoor golf league kicking off on Sunday January 5th at Golf Galaxy. This league is at capacity but please let the Event Directors know if you would be interested in filling in as a substitute, as needed. More information will be available closer to Tee Off regarding registration for our summer weekly leagues.
I am looking forward to seeing you all out on the course this year! If you have not renewed your membership for the 2025 season, you can renew in the Member Clubhouse under My Profiles and Overview.

Happy December! I hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving. I hope to see many of you at the Holiday Party at Bahama Breeze on December 5th.
Your chapter board met in late November to begin planning for the 2025 golf season. To help the board better plan chapter events we are asking members to complete a short 7 question survey. It should take you less than 5 minutes to complete. The survey link is below. We appreciate your feedback!
We will start the New Year by returning to TopGolf in January followed by Rules and Handicap social events in February and March. The events committee is hard at work scheduling our monthly golf events and has a great calendar put together. Keep an eye on your email as we head into the new year for more information about winter events and our tee off event in April.
The Chapter is adding a winter, indoor league to our league offerings. The league will be 8 weeks long at Golf Galaxy in Berwyn. Registration will be limited to 8 2025 chapter members but we will have a substitution list of members who are interested in filing in if a league member has to miss a week. More details will follow.

On November 14th, a group of young professional golfers got together at Indoor Golf Club in Fort Washington. After a short presentation covering basics on the rules, etiquette and dress code for golf, the group mingled and hit a few golf balls on the simulators. It was a great night promoting the game of golf to a mix of newer golfers and women who are looking to find additional opportunities to play. Thank you to Philly Chapter member Christine Lee and The Main Line Group of Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, for helping plan and sponsoring the event! Indoor Golf Club was a very unique, members-only indoor golf simulator space. If you are in the Fort Washington area and are interested in a space the practice inside, it is worth looking into.

Golf Galaxy 8 Week Winter League 2025
Sundays 2:30pm-4:30pm
First Session: Sunday January 5th, 2025
Last Session: Sunday February 23rd, 2025
Location: Golf Galaxy (simulators) 470 W. Swedesford Rd. Berywn, PA. 19312
Get ready for the golf season at the Philadelphia Chapter's Golf Galaxy Winter League!
The league is 8 weeks long starting Sunday January 5th. We will have 2 simulators, 4 people in each, for 2 hours 2:30-4:30pm. The format will be 2 person scramble. We will award a winning team each week and will have a few league-long prizes as well.
Alcohol is not allowed but you can bring food and non-alcoholic beverages.
Please sign up individually and advise in comments if you would like to pair up with a specific person. If you don't request a specific person, we will pair you up with someone. Note that this is for LPGA Amateurs Philadelphia chapter members only; you and your partner will need to renew your 2025 membership by 12/31/24 in order to participate.
Registration is limited to 8 people. You will pay in advance for the full 8 weeks. If there is a week you can't make it, you can get a substitute and have that person pay you directly. Substitutes must be current LPGA Amateurs Philadelphia chapter members. The full 8 week cost is $140 ($17.50 per week).
After we have filled the first 8 registrations, we will keep the registration open for a Wait List - we will use the Wait List as the first source of Subs.
