Mark Your Calendars!!
While sign-up for the first of the local events is a few weeks away, I know that most of you are trying to set your busy travel, work, golf, and volunteer calendars for the year (at least through golf season near and far). Here is the calendar of the Chicago Chapter 2019 events. All are scheduled on a Sunday, except for our Kick-off, which is on a Saturday.
There are several dates for National Events that may be important to those of you who anticipate or are considering attending:
Sign-up for our March 16th Kickoff Brunch will go live the week of February 11th. We encourage you to join your fellow members in celebrating the start of a new golf season, with league sign-ups, a raffle and silent auction, and new this year, a Bloody Mary bar. Part of our program will recognize the 2018 volunteer of the year and member anniversaries. We hope that you will be excited to join in the fun at the Kickoff in order to reconnect with members you have missed seeing over the winter, as well as welcome and meet new members since last year's kickoff.
Any questions feel free to reach out to our Director of Events,

The LPGA Amateurs offers a welcoming golf community for all women to learn to play, play better, have fun and make friends. Highlights of LPGA Amateurs member benefits include:
Participating as a volunteer can bring a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment in contributing to the success of our Chapter, provide opportunities to enhance your professional and personal skills, allow you to expand and deepen friendships, and—of course—it is a lot of fun!
Our Chapter would not exist without all of our wonderful members and volunteers. Volunteer positions include: acting as a League Site Captain, helping run Chapter Events (golf, social & educational), and serving on the Chapter Board and/or one of the Board Committees.
Even if you only have time to volunteer at one event or for a couple of hours—we would love for you to get involved!
For more information on our volunteer opportunities, please contact our Director of Member Services, Marilee Viola
