The LPGA Amateur Golf Association Asheville Area, NC chapter is open to all women in the greater Western North Carolina area. Our members come from as far away as Tennessee and South Carolina.
Golfing with the Asheville Chapter
We encourage women in the area to give us a try. We invite you to join us at the Omni Grove Park Inn Golf Course on Tuesday evenings (league night), Wednesday evening, every 6th Saturday and Sunday afternoon tournaments.
You don't need to be a member to golf with us a time or two. But we are confident once you play golf with us you will want to become a member of the LPGA Amateur Golf Association Asheville Area, NC chapter. The golfing experience in the mountains is an unsurpassed pleasure. Join us today!

- If you want to join the LPGA Amateur Golf Association Asheville Area, NC chapter you can do so through the LPGA Amateur Golf Association Web site. You can join either online or by downloading an application; the downloadable application is a PDF that can be filled in on your computer, and emailed to LPGA Amateur Golf Association Asheville, NCCDC link at member@lpgaamateurgolf.com.
During this period of Covid19, tee times are required to ensure a safe distance between groups. We follow CDC and state safety guidelines by social distancing, wearing a mask if you cannot socially distance by 6 feet. Having tee times reduces the instance of being around more than one or two people at a time. Don't worry, we take care of the tee times which are spaced every ten minutes. Once on the course, we practice social distancing, use individual carts except for those that live together can ride together, and the carts are always sanitized before we arrive.

Scramble Open Recap: We were thrilled to welcome 264 LPGA Amateurs members at Pinehurst Resort on May 28-29 to participate in the 2021 Scramble Open. 2021 Women on Par Scholarship applications available now! These scholarships are intended for women, ages 30 and older, who are attending a college or university for the first time, or returning to school after an absence to complete their technical/vocational, Associate, or Bachelors degree. In 2021, two (2) scholarships will be awarded: One (1) $2,000 Women on Par scholarship and one (1) $1,000 Women on Par scholarship. We Love Our Volunteers!!!
Volunteer opportunities are open to all members! It's a great way to get to know members! We need greeters, extra hands at party events, photogs and many other opportunities.
