  • Special Meeting to approve updated Chapter Bylaws

    Microsoft Teams Conference Call - connection details will be shared with registered participants
    Details GTA Chapter needs to get member approval to update the Chapter Bylaws, particularly to change the legal name of the organization, to change the timing of the Chapter AGM and Elections and to recognize the needs of the organization through the structure of the Board of Directors. Registration is on-line so we know who to send the Teams meeting information. If you are unable to attend this meeting in person, PLEASE submit a proxy voting form - we need 40% of our members to participate, either in person or through a proxy vote, in order to reach quorum - that's about 38 members! We will have proxy forms available at Season Closer, at Nobleton Lakes. Please reach out to any of the Board if you have any questions.

  • 2020 Season - League Play Continues

    Details While Season Closer is our last formal, on-course event of the 2020 season, our four weekly leagues will continue to play until as long as possible, given available daylight for the Don Valley Thursday Evening League, and weather conditions for all courses.   • Notice of Special Meeting for By-law Adoption, October 5, 2020

    Notice is hereby given to all members that a SPECIAL MEETING of the LPGA Amateur Golf Association, Greater Toronto Area Chapter will be held on Monday, October 5, 2020 at 7:30 pm EDT.  The Meeting will be held via a Microsoft Teams conference call, to conduct the following business:


    1. Call to Order
    2. Adoption of the Agenda (motion)
    3. Approval of the 2020 Chapter By-laws (motion)
    4. Adjournment (motion)

    Please note that, if there is no quorum at 7:30 pm, the meeting shall be adjourned for 30 minutes.  If there is still no quorum, the meeting shall be adjourned for a period of not more than 7 days.  Only Active Members in good standing are eligible to attend and participate in the meeting, as per Article I, Section 1(b) and Article IV, Section 2 of the Chapter Bylaws.

  • Inaugural Provincial Championship

    The inaugural Ontario Provincial Championship was held on Saturday, September 19 at Burlington's Hidden Lake GC.  53 competitors, representing all five Ontario chapters,  and 20 members who came out for fun enjoyed the cool but sunny conditions on the New Course.

LPGA Amateur Golf Association chapters are volunteer-run; we need our members to be involved in order for the organization to function. Participation on the Board or on a Committee is a very rewarding and satisfying experience. The opportunity allows you to develop your leadership skills and give back to the organization that we enjoy so much.
