Format: 2-Person Teams - Combination Format:
6 Holes: Best Ball
6 Holes: Scramble
6 Holes: Alternate Shot

Tournament Format
We will use a combination format (much like a Solheim or Ryder cup competition) that should provide both fun and
challenge. Each format will be played for 6 holes.
Best Ball [Holes 1-6]
Each player on the team plays her own golf ball throughout the 6 holes. Record the gross score for each player. The
computerized scoring will calculate the low net score -- or "best ball" -- of the two, which will serve as the team score.
Player A gets a 5, B gets a 4, then the team score for that hole is 4, because B’s score was lower.
Scramble [Holes 7-12]
Each player on the two-person team tees off on each hole. The best of the tee shots is selected and both players play
their second shots from that spot. The better of the second shots is determined, then both play their third shots from that
spot, and so on until the ball is holed. Record the gross score for the team on each hole.
Alternate Shot [Holes 13-18]
The 2-person team alternates hitting the same ball. Both players tee off, one of the drives is selected. The second player
hits the second shot, the first player hits the third shot, and so on until the ball is holed. If your drive is selected on the first
hole, then you must use your teammate’s drive on the next hole.
Special Rules for Pace of Play and Keeping it Fun
 Maximum of 2 putts per hole. Once on the green, attempt the first putt. If missed, pick-up and count two putts.
 Maximum score of double-par on each hole. When you or your team has reached double-par in shots, pick-up
and record that gross score.
Scoring
Each 2-person team will submit their score. The winning Chapter will be awarded the coveted Badger Cup traveling upon
which they will get to emblazon their Chapter Name and year in recognition of the victory for eternity.
