The World Handicap System (WHS) instituted changes to the handicap system beginning January 1, 2020. These websites offer information about the WHS system: www.usga.org/whs OR www.lpgaamateurs.com
In 2023, membership in the LPGA Amateurs Eastern Shore MD/DE Chapter will include the GHIN handicap service. Active golfers (those who posted on GOLFNET in 2022) will receive an email from GHIN.COM to set up an account. Simply open the link provided and follow steps to CREATE A PROFILE. Scores previously posted on GOLFNET will be transferred to your new GHIN account. Once completed, you will then post scores through GHIN.COM.
You already have a GHIN account elsewhere and would like to change your home club to the LPGA Amateurs Eastern Shore MD/DE Chapter
You want to establish a handicap and do not currently belong to a handicap service.
Please be patient as we navigate this transition. We hope to have the GHIN service up and running sometime in January 2023. If you are currently playing golf at courses that are in an active season (i.e. Florida), please hold your score cards for rounds played after 12/31/22 until the transition to GHIN is complete. You may then post the held scores.
Stay tuned and we will keep you posted as we progress forward!

Note: If you were using the GOLFNET system to post your scores but your account is now inactive, before obtaining a GHIN account, please contact Val Herwig or Chris Somers to provide your CCID #. You will need to inform the GHIN provider this number in order for your previous scores from GOLFNET to transfer over to GHIN.
