Monthly Chapter Event
April 27th Event “Alternate Shot” Riverwood Golf Club, Port Charlotte
A fun 2 person game where from the start your partnership and combined decision making skills come into play. Both players tee off from hole 1, but from that point on its a game of chance with players using each others shots to make it to the hole. Signup with a partner or we will pair you. Cost to play is $80 plus tax and payment is at the course. Tee times begin at 9:00 AM. Use this LINK to register .
May 18th Event Inaugural Chapter Championship
Verandah Whispering 8:30 Shotgun. This is our first of hopefully many to come. The event will be stroke play. Flights will be established based on the number of participants. Flight assignment will be based on handicap index. We will have a Low Gross Champion and a Low Net Champion. Registration will be open for competitive and noncompetitive players. This event is open to chapter members only. Registration will open April 18.

Florida Senior Women Golf Association Sunshine State Senior Women’s Golf Association (2 - 4 Jun) - This is a 2 Person Team Tournament, at El Campeón, Mission Resort and Club, Howey in the Hills, FL. Format: 2 Person Team – Scramble, Better Ball, Pinehurst. Maximum index is 30 with 60% of the field awarded. Cost: $401.43 (Per Person) – including entry fee golf, awards and luncheon. Inaugural Chapter Championship (18 May) - Verandah Golf and Country Club - Chapter championship. Resulting team winners will represent the chapter at the Inaugural Florida LPGA Amateurs Chapter Statewide Tournament 21 June 2025 at Red Hills Golf Club, Tallahassee.
Inaugural Florida LPGA Amateurs Chapter Statewide Tournament 21 June - This year there will be a statewide chapter tournament that will include all 15 chapters. The event is tentatively scheduled for June at Red Hills Golf Club, Tallahassee. This event aspires to be an annual "Traveling Tee It Up Cup Challenge”. As planned, there will be a maximum 72 golfers made up of 4 person teams. Larger chapters may have the opportunity to field 2 teams. Our chapter will have a stroke play event to qualify the team(s) that will represent us at the statewide tournament on 18 May. Stay tuned for information.
