Lodging

Everyone is responsible for their own accommodations for our Suncadia summer trip. The lodge is fully booked at the moment but the resort has provided us a link to rentals available. You can pick whatever fits your style — solo retreat, roommate duo, or full‑on squad house.

  1. Please visit: www.suncadia.com
  2. Click "Book Now" and Select Vacation Rentals
  3. Then choose your dates and you can find all options for those size accommodations!

There will be a pre-payment to reserve the homes but a very flexible cancellation policy with refund should you need to cancel.

We will offer two ways to compete – either as an individual competitor or as part of a scramble team.

  • The individual competition gives everyone with a registered handicap of 40.0 or less the opportunity to participate in competitive golf.
  • This tournament will be "flighted".  This means you'll be paired with and compete against women who are in the same handicap bracket as you are (i.e. their average scores are similar to yours).
  • There will be 3 flights of competitors and awards will be given out to the two women in each flight who score First Low Gross and First Low Net in their flight.
  • We will also award Overall Gross & Net  Champions for the field.

Not ready to compete individually?

  • A scramble team has four members who compete as a team against other scramble teams.
  • Scramble Team players must all have registered handicaps, but there is no maximum as in stroke play.
  • Each team’s course handicap will be determined using the Ambrose formula. The formula is 50% of the average of the 4 team members Course Handicaps rounded to the first decimal place.
  • Awards will be given to the team who finishes First and Second Net.
  • Read our Scramble Rules Document HERE

All participants in both the individual and scramble competitions must be LPGA Amateurs members in good standing.  Handicaps will be “frozen” a few days before the competition.
