The LPGA Amateur Golf Association exists to connect women to learn, play and enjoy golf for business and for fun.  Since its inception in 1991, the LPGA Amateur Golf Association (formerly known as Executive Women’s Golf Association – EWGA) has served as a portal to golf and touched the lives of thousands of women of all skill levels. LPGA Amateur Golf Association has Chapters throughout the United States and Internationally.

The LPGA Amateur Golf Association Birmingham Chapter was established in 1994, and the membership reflects a cross-section of individuals from different industries in Central Alabama that all share a common link - GOLF. The LPGA Amateurs – Birmingham is your best place to get involved, get connected, and to have fun playing the game of golf.
Our Leadership team is comprised of a diverse group of energetic leaders and amazing supporting member volunteers. For members interested in helping with Chapter operations or events, we will always have an opportunity for you to help enrich women’s lives through the game of golf. 

Everyone is welcome, including those who want to learn how to golf, those who enjoy playing casual golf, and the more experienced (and perhaps competitive) players!  We offer weekend golf events and weekly leagues geared to all levels of play and demanding schedules. We also offer outstanding golf education and social networking opportunities. For our competitive golfers, we offer an exciting Match Play Madness competition, opportunities to qualify and play in the Atlanta-Birmingham Challenge (a team event based on the Solheim Cup), our Chapter Championship (flighted by handicap and a scramble team division), and participate in the LPGA Amateur Golf Association Championships.  We also have volunteer opportunities marshaling the first hole at the Regions Tradition, a PGA Champions Tour event, and working with Girls Golf!
