Reflecting on a Remarkable 2023 Season
As we step into the new year, let's take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey we had during the 2023 season. What a remarkable year it was, filled with laughter, camaraderie, and some outstanding golfing moments.
Post-Holiday Lunch at Salt Creek Grill:
Our season started on a high note with a fantastic post-holiday lunch at Salt Creek Grill. The afternoon was filled with fun and camaraderie, and together, we raised over $2000 for the charity Woman's Space.
Winter Months at Mercer County Learning Academy and Golf Cave:
During the winter months, we kept our golf game in check at Mercer County Learning Academy and Golf Cave, utilizing simulators to stay on par. To beat the winter blues, our first outing at Top Golf was a huge success, with the ladies enjoying laughter, fun, and a delicious brunch.
Teeing Off at Mercer Oaks with Golf 4 Her Fashion Show:
We kicked off the season at Mercer Oaks with a stunning fashion show by Golf 4 Her as our members modeled the newest styles for the course, setting the tone for an exciting season ahead.
Season Highlights:
Sold Out Season Opener at LBI National: Our first sold-out event of the season was a hit at LBI National, and the enthusiasm continued throughout the year.
Leagues and Events: Women participated in various leagues and events, making the most of the opportunities. We even celebrated two members achieving hole-in-ones!
Mother's Day Event: The Mother's Day event exemplified the strong sense of community within our group. Seeing everyone come together, supporting one another, and celebrating the unique joys of motherhood made the day even more memorable.
Mystery Event at Morgan Hill: Lynda and the events team organized a fantastic mystery event at Morgan Hill, leaving everyone guessing and excited for more surprises this year.
Weekend Getaway in Ocean City, Maryland: The ladies had a blast on and off the course during our weekend getaway,
Private courses - We especially enjoyed our outings at 2 private courses - Forsgate and Cherry Valley.
Educational Clinics and National Representation: Members enjoyed golf clinics, and some even represented us at National events, with one team making it to the cup finals.
Play 4 Pink Event: Despite being rained out, our Play 4 Pink event showed the true spirit of our members in supporting the Susan G Komen foundation.
Final Putt at Royce Brook: We wrapped up the season with an amazing final putt at Royce Brook, ending the year on a high note.
Looking ahead to the upcoming season, we have a lot in store. Keep an eye out for exciting events, leagues, and more memorable moments on the golf course.
