President 2 year term:

Meet Joanna Castellano, she has been a member of our Coastal NJ Chapter since its very beginning. She first joined the Tuesday in the Parks league after work and quickly found it to be a fun, welcoming group. When she retired the following year, she added the Travel Thursday league, which broadened both her circle of golf friends and her experience on new courses.

Joanna went on to coordinate Travel Thursday for three years, serving as co-coordinator in her final year. Along the way, she has supported many chapter events and volunteered as a marshal at LPGA events in New Jersey. In 2025, when a Director position opened, she stepped up to fill the role and help with chapter finances.

Now beginning her two-year term as President, Joanna is looking forward to meeting more members and encouraging greater involvement across the chapter.

Director 2 year term:

Meet Laura Tarlow, a member of our Coastal NJ Chapter since 2021! After retiring, Laura found her perfect community here—and even launched our indoor golf leagues to keep the fun going all winter long.  Laura co-coordinates the Travel Thursday league, coordinates the Wednesday evening Indoor T2G league, and volunteers for Chapter and LPGA events (when in NJ). Previously, she was Communications Chair. She loves connecting with members old and new, so say cheese when you see her! She’s always scouting for great photos to post on our Facebook page and for our Holiday slideshow.

Director 1 year term:

Meet Irene Hunt, a member of our Coastal NJ Chapter since inception and a previous member of Central NJ, Northern NJ, and Boston Chapters.  Irene has a long connection with LPGA Amateurs (formerly known as EWGA) and has loved learning more about golf and making lifelong friendships, only wishing that her golf skills improved as much as her social life!  Irene has served as the Handicap/GHIN Chair and active participant in the Chapter Leadership Team for the last six years. She plays with the Tuesday Two Putt (most improved player for 2026 with the Troll to show for it!), the Thursday Travel and the Sunday Drivers leagues, as well as participates in our golf events.
