The LPGA Foundation and its Programs embrace diversity and welcome women and men of every age, race, religion, and golf skill level. The LPGA Amateur Golf program believes that the practice of valuing and celebrating diversity will strengthen the status of women, which is vital to our organization’s vision and mission.
The Fort Lauderdale Chapter welcomes guests to participate at events and golf outings. Male guests are invited to play on Sundays with our organized groups. Female guests may play weekdays and Saturdays up to three times before being asked to join our Chapter.
Many of our larger events require pre-payment. The Fort Lauderdale Chapter may or may not offer a refund depending on the cancellation policy of each individual venue. Generally, refunds for an event fee - which include both golf and refreshments - may be issued in full less a processing fee provided the individual cancels at least 10 days prior to the event. Payments for golf only events can usually be refunded if cancelled 72 hours prior to the event. After this time there will be no refunds. Exception: If a replacement signs up and/pays, then a refund can be processed. The Chapter will make every effort to provide full or partial refund when cancellation is due to reasons beyond the control of a chapter member.
All chapter leaders and volunteers who incur expenses on behalf of the chapter will be reimbursed. For events, the chair will submit a report of revenues and expenses to our Treasurer and attach all receipts. For miscellaneous expenses, volunteers may scan, fax or mail their receipts to our Treasurer for reimbursement. Print out form HERE
All chapter members and guests who participate in an LPGA Amateur Golf-sponsored golf event have coverage as a result of an accidental injury. The MAPP policy provides coverage for medical and dental expenses up to $25,000. Injuries must be reported to the chapter's Board of Directors within one year of the accident. To make an insurance claim, contact the LPGA Foundation's Chief Financial Officer at 561-691-0096 x124.
