Chapter Policies

GOLF EVENTS
are organized play usually followed (or preceded) by a meal and rewards.  When registering for a golf event, the player chooses to participate in one of the formats offered for the specific date. Generally, golf events are for LPGA Amateur Golf Association members and their guests who are considering joining the Chapter. There are several events that are limited to members only. See "Guests" below.

PLAY DAYS are reserved tee times where members and their guests play during a specified time period at a local course. For Play Days, guests include women or men. Players and guests may register for either events or Play Days by selecting the appropriate link on the Events Calendar.

REGISTER for Golf Events and Play Days by clicking on the event located in the events calendar. Once you click on the event, you will be able to RSVP, pay online where needed and provide any additional information requested.

GUESTS are welcome to participate in up to two Golf Events*, Play Days or GirlFriend Golf outings. After the second visit, we encourage guests to formally join the LPGA Amateur Golf Association–Dallas.

*Guests are not able to play in the Chapter Championship or the Scramble Championship. Only members with established handicaps are eligible to participate in this Event.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations vary by individual event. Please check the policy listed on the registration page.

Cancellation of a Social Event, Golf Event or Play Day is at the discretion of the Host Venue Staff, Golf Course Staff and the LPGA Amateur Golf Association–Dallas Golf Events Director. Every effort will be made to proceed or play as scheduled. If an event is cancelled, the Events Committee will try to notify attendees and players via e-mail or text message, but if attendees or players are unsure, contacting the Host Venue Staff or the Golf Course Staff directly in encouraged to confirm.

WE VALUE YOUR PRIVACY

LPGA Amateur Golf Association respects members who are concerned about having their personal contact information appear online. There are a few options to have control of what appears:

The option of marking your record in the LPGA Amateurs database as "Do Not Publish Online" is available; however, it has negative consequences. If this is done to a member record, then the member is blocked from being able to login to the LPGA Amateurs Member Clubhouse and the Handicap Service. We do not recommend this option.

Some members go online and delete their mailing address, phone and email so that it won’t appear online. We definitely do not recommend this option as then there is no way to communicate with a member at all. This impacts our Chapter too, as the contact information won’t appear on the roster we receive each week.

The best option is for members to login to the Member Clubhouse (lpgaamateurs.com) and update the "Privacy Settings" under the "My Profile" tab. You can choose specifically which information you want to sho online, and to whom.
