Our Chapter Needs Volunteers!

The LPGA Amateur Golf Association is an organization that is run by volunteer talent. It takes a collection of skills and abilities to deliver the value that we all enjoy. We need YOU. Sign-up for one of our current volunteer opportunities. Use your current skills or develop new ones in a friendly non-threatening environment. The LPGA Amateur Golf Association is committed to advancing the leadership skills of our members. Use a volunteer opportunity to develop your skills. Imagine the possibilities of this organization if we all gave just a little!  We are looking for volunteers to join the following committees:

Volunteer – Get involved and get to know the members.  Widen your circle of friends and opportunities for golf or even movies, dinners out, happy hours, etc.  Maybe you would even like to run for an office next year.  Get Involved!

Golf Events – Event coordinators need assistance staffing registration tables, filling “goodie bags” and selling split-the-pot or 50:50 raffle tickets.

Membership – Distribute marketing materials to local businesses and welcome new members as well as reach out to former members.

Communications – Know an interesting story about a member or want to do an interview with a member?  Prepare short articles to submit to our Par Fore the Course newsletter.

Leagues/Handicap – If you are interested in being a league captain or co-captain, contact one of the Board members.  Do you use your golf handicap? If so, perhaps you can help show others in your league how to establish, maintain and use a handicap.

Social – Are you fun, creative and love to be involved with people?  Consider helping plan and organize our Chapter social events.

Golf Mentoring & Education – Our new golfers in the instructional league need to play with experienced golfers.  You don’t have to be a great golfer to show a beginner proper course etiquette and pace of play tips.
