LPGA Amateur Golf Association "Leagues" 

Golfer/League Terminology

Beginner Golfer:  Players new to golf or have minimal playing experience or those not yet ready to play on a regulation course

Beginner-Intermediate Golfer:  Average 60 or less for 9 holes on a regular course

Intermediate-Advanced Golfer:  Average 55 or less for 9 holes on a regulation course and have or are in the process of establishing a handicap

Social/Casual League:  Foursomes/Tee times are set by the league captain; however, handicap is not necessary and no handicap-related games will be played.

Formal/Competitive League:  Foursomes/Tee times are set by the league captain; handicap is mandatory (or you must be working toward establishing your handicap) and games will be played requiring a handicap.

League Name: Beavercreek - Mondays

Type of League:  Competitive: Intermediate/Advanced

Golf Course: Beavercreek Golf Club

Day of Week:  Monday night

First Tee Time: 4:52 pm then every 8 minutes

Two six Week Sessions:

Session One:  May 6th to June 24 (No play 5/20 for DDWGA event and no play 5/27 for Memorial Day)

Session Two:  July 8 to August 19 (No play 8/12 for DDWGA event)

Maximum Players: 28


Cost: $108 per player per session plus $9 cart fee

Description: The Monday Beavercreek League is a formal league that requires a GHIN Handicap Index. Weekly modified match play points accumulate for the season with prizes going to 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners. In addition, a game of the week is played for prize money (i.e., low putts, most fairways, etc). The league members gather afterward to dine/socialize at a local restaurant.

Front and back rotation weekly
Session 1: May 6 - June 24 (no play 5/20 & 5/27)
Session 2: July 8 - Aug 19 (no play 8/12)
Cost: $144pp - walking  $174pp - riding

Players will be given a gift card with the prepay amount preloaded - each week payment will be deducted from the gift card. The gift card can also be used in the pro shop. No expiration on the gift card

 2024 Tuesday Yankee Social 9 Hole League

League Name: Yankee Trace - Tuesdays

 

Type of League:  Casual/Social League

Golf Course: Yankee Trace (rotating all 3 9-hole courses)

Day of Week:  Tuesday night

First Tee Time: 4:08pm

Session 1: Apr 30 - Jun 25 (No play on 5/28)

Session 2: July 9 – Aug 27

Maximum Players: 20 per session

Cost: $184/per session PLUS $9 cart fee/per week (range balls NOT included)

Description: Tuesday Yankee Trace League is a casual league and attracts women of all skill levels. This league is a great way to have fun and focus on individual growth throughout the season. The group stays after play for food, drink and socializing.

Type of League:  Competitive: Intermediate/Advanced

Golf Course: Yankee Trace  18 hole (rotating all 3 9-hole courses)

Day of Week:  Thursday Midday

First Tee Time: 12:32p

Session 1: May 2 – Jun 27 (No play on 5/30) 

Session 2: July 11 – Aug 29

Maximum Players: 12 per session

Cost: $272/per session PLUS $14 cart fee/per week (range balls NOT included)

Description: The Thursday 18 hole Yankee League is a relaxed formal league that requires a GHIN Handicap Index. One 12-week session: May 2 - August 1 (No play on 5/30 or 7/4)

Maximum Players: 24 

Cost: $180 PLUS $7 cart fee/per week

Description: Thursday Community League is a casual league and attracts women of all skill levels. This league is a great way to have fun and focus on individual growth throughout the season. After the round, the clubhouse is a great place to get a bite to eat, a beverage, and share in the camaraderie.

Day of Week:  Wednesday Mornings

First Tee Time: Various but usually around 9 am

Dates: May 1 - August 28 

Maximum Players: 24

Cost: $10 administrative fee (pay course when play)

Description: This casual league is every Wednesday morning.  Various courses are played and tee times usually begin around 9am.  There is an administrative fee of $10.  You pay the course whenever you play.

Leagues at Beavercreek and Yankee are pre-paid for each session.  Unless play is officially cancelled by the captain (in agreement with the club pro) PRIOR to the first tee time that night, NO RAINCHECKS ARE GIVEN.  Each participant is responsible to be at the course early enough to be on the tee and ready to play at the assigned time, or to have notified the captain ahead of time of her inability to play.  The captain will then attempt to find a sub to play that night.  The original player does NOT get a refund for missed play dates.

Ladies, get ready for a weekend of golf, friends, food, games and FUN!!!! We will be traveling to  Sellersburg, IN and Henrysville, IN , to play two awesome courses, Covered Bridge and Champions Pointe Golf Clubs on July 27 and 28. Rooms have been secured at the Hampton Inn in New Albany for  Friday and Saturday.   You can reserve for the event and the hotel block via a provided link or call the hotel directly to reserve a king or two-queen room beginning now.
