  • New Weekend Addition: ORIOLE GOLF COURSE
After playing one round on this course, our membership decided to move from Pompano Municipal to Oriole for the foreseeable future, while Pompano undergoes renovations. This course went through a major renovation project in the summer of 2014, and currently has Champion Ultra Dwarf Greens. Oriole is very affordable in peak season and also has one of the lowest summer rates in Broward County. Justine Youngleson will be organizing league play here the last Saturday of every month.

  • CHAPTER FUN GOLF GETAWAY AT PGA VILLAGE in PORT ST LUCIE
In June our members enjoyed 3 days of golf on the Dye & Ryder courses, cards, friendship and "staying hydrated". The courses were beautiful and the weather almost perfect. But being with old friends and meeting new ones was the BEST!

A special thank you to committee members - Kathy Beard, Becky Barstow, & Shellie Morrison - who did a great job in assisting me throughout the planning of this trip.

Both teams fought hard and the day was filled with friendly competition, lots of laughs, and new friendships. Thank you to everyone who participated and made it such a memorable event. See you next year as we look forward to continuing this tradition.

  • GIRL'S GOLF GETAWAY To NAPLES
Julie Healy and Michelle Florea planned an unforgettable weekend!! New friendships were formed and old ones rekindled. From the happy hour at Harold’s to the lovely hotel with a beach view and the beautiful yet challenging course, we all agreed we would go back in a heartbeat !!

COLOR WARS was a fun-filled two-day accumulation of team points consisting of a multitude of gross and net scores, longest drives, and closest to the pins. On Day #1 the blue team had the lead, securing wins in most categories. But the red team was not giving up, held their heads high, and came back on Day #2 ready to rumble. It was a hot one, but that didn’t slow anyone down. At the end of the day, Team Blue held on to the lead & won!
