Chapter News & Announcements
  • Message from your President

    Dear Members,

As our league continues to grow and reaches record membership levels, we are experiencing unprecedented participation in our weekly league play events. To help ensure a positive experience for all members, we are updating our registration and cancellation policies.
These changes are designed to help our volunteer league coordinators manage registrations more efficiently, reduce last-minute changes that impact other players, and streamline event operations for our increasingly large group. By establishing clear deadlines and expectations, we can create a fair and organized process that allows more members the opportunity to participate and helps our events run smoothly.
Thank you for your understanding, cooperation, and continued support as our league continues to thrive and grow.

    Tina

  • Spring Kick Off
Fun, Fun, Fun! 81 Golfers and two on the injured list shared in the fun at the 2026 Kick Off at Silver Oak Golf Course.  There was lots of fun, birdies, bogies, and pars.  Some of the ladies played a scramble, some did a clinic and some played darn good golf while the two "drink ladies" (Ann and Donna) came by with a beverage. The raffle prizes and silent auction items were a hit and the proceeds will help fund the chapter throughout the year.  The lunch is something that we won't talk about but other than that, I think fun was had by all.

  • "Putts & Pearls" take 3rd in Cup Finals at Sandestin Golf Resort, Florida

Congratulations to Donna Clark, captain, Dawn Yamine, Julie Osendorf and Joey Pearlman!

Northern Nevada’s Putts & Pearls shine in national competition at Sandestin Golf Resort, Florida.

The Northern Nevada Chapter of LPGA Amateurs, Putts & Pearls, proudly represented our region at the LPGA Amateurs Cup Finals held October 24–25 at the beautiful Sandestin Golf Resort in Miramar Beach, Florida. The national event brought together 60 teams from across the country for two days of spirited competition.

Friday featured Four-Ball Match Play on the Links Course, followed by Individual Match Play on Saturday at Raven Golf Course. Team members Donna Clark (captain), Dawn Yamine, Julie Osendorf, and Joe Pearlman had a phenomenal showing on day two—winning all of their matches. This was the first year the team has competed together, though veterans Clark and Osendorf have participated in previous Cup Finals.

The road to the Finals began in September at the regional qualifier in Vallejo, California, where four Northern Nevada Chapter teams competed for a chance to advance. Putts & Pearls and Tees Mee both earned their spots at the Finals, proudly representing Northern Nevada on the national stage.

Tees Mee, made up of Karen Caterino, Darla Smyth, Lisa Mantkus, and Debbie Bagnoto, placed first at the qualifier before heading to Sandestin for the championship competition.

  • GHIN Renewal Update

    Important GHIN Update

Effective November 1, 2025, GHIN renewals and new sign-ups will be temporarily disabled.
A new registration system will launch in January 2026.

    Please note:

    • If you currently have auto-renewal, you will need to re-register in the new system, as dues will now be collected directly by the USGA beginning January 1, 2026.

    • Renewals will move to a rolling 12-month cycle (instead of a fixed calendar year).

We appreciate your patience as this transition takes place and hope for a smooth changeover for everyone.
