Central NJ Chapter
Upcoming Events
Dear Members,

New Jersey life is slowly returning to a “new normal” as restrictions are lifted.   Of course, this includes access to golf courses and is allowing us to enjoy the game we all love!  Hopefully all of you are getting out to the courses.

The Board of the Central NJ Chapter is continually monitoring updated recommendations from our National office as well as the Governor’s office on COVID-19.   Please visit this website often for updates.

Based on discussions with Knob Hill Golf Club and a review of current guidelines, we are cancelling the Tee Off luncheon that had been rescheduled for June 20th.  For all members and vendors that had registered for the event, we are in the process of issuing refunds.  The June 27th outing at Heron Glenn has also been cancelled.

We have also been in contact with the golf courses where our leagues were planned.  While we have been able to resume leagues at some locations, several courses have determined that having league play this year will not be viable. These leagues will be suspended for the 2020 season.  As updates are available, we will be sending out email updates as well as posting updates to the website.

For those of you who are not in areas where we currently offer active leagues, we encourage you to reach out to fellow members to arrange informal golf get togethers.  You can find other golfers in the chapter at your skill level by searching the directory in the Member Clubhouse.  To access just click “Directory” on tabs above. Under “Membership Type” please scroll down to “NJ-Central Chapter”.

As you return to the play, please keep in mind the current guidelines regarding golf course operations as outlined on the COVID-19NJ.gov website.   Golf courses may impose additional restrictions as necessary to limit person-to-person interactions.

Stay safe and well.

2020 EVENTS

Our annual Play for PINK outing is coming soon!   This year’s event is scheduled for July 19th at the Meadows in Plainsboro.   Your registration fee will include a contribution to Play for PINK which funds breast cancer research.   Details will be forthcoming shortly!

2020 LEAGUES

We are in discussion with all golf courses where we had organized leagues for the 2020 season.   Several of these courses have determined the current situation does not support offering league play.   These leagues will be suspended for this year.  Updates will be posted as available, see CHAPTER LEAGUES for updates.
