Our 2019 program schedule has ended, but we're working to organize informal off-season golf and social meet-ups, so watch this space--and your inbox--for announcements.

Memorable Memorial Weekend 2020The Chapter is planning a Golf Getaway for Memorial Weekend (May 22-25) at Silvies Ranch in Eastern OR, a GOLF Top 100 Resorts. Details will be available soon, but the package will include two rounds of golf w/carts and accommodations for three nights for about $1K per person. Stay tuned for details to be announced soon. Like all LPGA Amateur chapters, here in Portland we welcome women of all skill levels, including those new to the game—offering a varied schedule of weeknight league play, weekend recreational outings, tournaments, instructional clinics, social and networking events. Members choose to participate according to their individual interests and schedules.

  • PDX Players wShirley Spork  LPGA Ams Championship. Congratulations to Samantha Miller (in red) who was 2nd place gross winner in the championship flight at the Oct 11-12 Championship Finals at Mission Hills, and to Robin Dea (first flight), Deb Dalenberg (second flight) and Mary Gilbert (fourth flight) for their great play throughout the 2019 Championship series. At the awards banquet, our PDX team (from left, Mary, Deb, Robin, Samantha) posed with 92-year old Shirley Spork, one of 13 tour players who founded the LPGA in 1950.

  • 2019 WIP Final Round OGA Women's Interleague Play. Congratulations to the LPGA Ams PDX team that's competed all season in OGA's WIP fourball match play series for their win in the Net competition at the WIP Championship final round at OGA GC Oct 5: (left to right) Holly Danks, Tami Latham, Suzy Off, Beth Madden, Elizabeth LeMay and June Hall. Well played ladies!

Association News and Announcements
  • Drive on for the Future - Join the LPGA $50 for 50% movement! The LPGA Foundation is on a mission to change this trend and reach 50% female participation in the game.   • The LPGA Amateurs Offices will be closed Nov 28 - Dec 1 for Thanksgiving.
  • Due to unanticipated circumstances, the review of the Nancy Oliver- Act Like A Founder Award nominees will begin in December followed by the selection and announcement of the winner after the first of the year. We appreciate your understanding and we look forward to recognizing our dedicated LPGA Amateurs volunteers during this process.
