Arizona Golf Association (AGA) State Medallion Qualifying Rounds
DESCRIPTION: The State Medallion tournament is an annual event, hosted by the Arizona Golf Association. Member Clubs send their Low Gross Winner and their Low Net Winner of their Club’s qualifying rounds to the AGA State Medallion tournament to be held in January 2027. This is an “over the field”, stroke play competition.
QUALIFYING ROUNDS: The qualifying rounds will be played at the Del Urich Golf Course, 602 South Alvernon Way, Tucson, Arizona. You must register online and pay at the course.
FORMAT and ELIGIBILITY: The State Medallion is a Low Net and Low Gross individual stroke play tournament. To be eligible for the State Medallion competitions, a golfer must play a minimum of two of the four qualifying rounds. The two best net scores and the two best gross scores will count for this competition. Players need not participate in all four rounds to be eligible.
You must hold your Handicap Index with the Arizona Golf Association, under the LPGA Amateurs Tucson Women Member Club to be eligible to compete in our Chapter’s qualifying rounds. If not, you may play as “follow the field”.
TEE BOX: Golfers will play from the Red Tees.
The date for Qualifying round #4 is tentatively Oct 24.
