Saturday, May 11 - Tubac Event: Join your LPGA Amateurs friends at the beautiful Tubac Golf Resort & Spa, a short 45- minute drive from Tucson. Lunch, practice balls, and prizes are included. There will be four-player teams so pick your cart partner and we’ll put you with another two golfers who you may not have played with. Or sign up as a single and we’ll put your team together. The resort is offering a discounted room rate of $249 + tax and resort fees (normally $285+) for those who want to come down on Friday night and/or stay over Saturday night to play a round on Sunday. Greens fees for anyone who plays on Sunday will be $65 (including tax), normally $80+. The golf shop will give LPGA Amateurs a discount of 15% on merchandise.
Shamble format— every player hits a tee shot and then all players hit from the best ball – maybe not the longest or best lie, but maybe the best line to the green. Each player then plays their own ball for the rest of the hole. Winners will be determined by the best team scores.
Event fee of $85 includes:
- 18 hole round with cart and range balls
- Team prizes for first, second and third place
- Lunch and goodi
Check in starts at 7:30 am on May 11 outside the golf shop.
Shotgun Start at 8:30 am. Be in carts ready to go at 8:15 am. All announcements and scoring information will be provided when you check in, so it is not necessary to gather at the pro shop prior to driving to your starting hole.
Lunch options to be selected when you register. All sandwiches include chips or fries.
