Chapter Championship Stroke Play

DetailsWe are thrilled to once again offer a NNJ Championship Individual Stroke Play Event to our Northern NJ Members! This is a great opportunity to “dip your toe” into the competitive side of things, but it will also be friendly and fun!
Stroke play is a form of play where a player competes against all others in the competition by comparing a total score of the 18-hole round. In individual stroke play, you need to hole out on every hole. Each hole score for every hole in the round is added up to calculate your final score. The competition will include both gross and net winners.
All registrants must have a valid 2024 GHIN handicap index, so remember to post all your rounds leading up to the event. (A total of at least 54 holes must be played this season and can be any combination of 9 or 18-hole rounds.)
After the round we invite you to meet on the patio where winners will be announced.

Chapter Championship Scramble

DetailsWe are thrilled to once again offer a NNJ Chapter Championship Scramble Event to our Northern NJ Members! This is a great opportunity to “dip your toe” into the competitive side of things, but it will also be friendly and fun!
A golf scramble is a team-based golf tournament format where players work together to achieve the best possible score. Unlike traditional golf, where each player plays their own ball, in a scramble, all team members hit their shots from the same location and then choose the best shot to play from for the next shot. This process continues until the ball is holed. An overall team handicap will be calculated based upon the individual handicaps of team members. Handicaps are then used to adjust the team’s score, allowing teams with a range of skill levels to compete on a level playing field.
- The Championship Scramble Event will consist of 4-member teams. Please be sure to confirm all four team players prior to registration.

Details Save the Date! Join us for a special weekday outing with the NYC Chapter at the beautiful Forest Hills Field Club. This event is sure to fill up fast, with only 12 spots allotted to each Chapter. Forest Hill Field Club is a private golf and country club, located in Bloomfield, NJ. At more than a century old, the Club is home to a pristine 18-hole Tillinghast-designed golf course and features amenities that are sure to please everyone. -
