Eligibility for Specific Chapter Events

We highly encourage all members to participate in all the events we have available. However, some events will have eligibility requirements.

We have been tracking participation this season.  Mostly to help us with determining how successful an event is so we can have a better idea of the types of events you would like to see.  We are also tracking participation for eligibility to participate in the Chapter Championship, North Texas Shootout and to acknowledge our members during our End of Year Celebration.

Specifically, in order to be eligible to participate in the Chapter Championship and NTxSO (North Texas Shootout), a member will be required to play in a minimum of 4 Chapter events (i.e., combined 72 holes of for example Mo' Golf Monday, Girlfriend Golf, fUnKY Friday, Sunday Funday or Chapter Play Days) between Mar 26 - Sep 30, 2022.

Championship is Oct. 8.  The NTxS is Oct. 22-23.

Payments
We are happy to offer the convenience of online payment with Golf Genius and encourage all members to take advantage of it.  If you are not familiar with Golf Genius,  it’s simple, secure, and you can pay via your credit card or debit card.  Please note that any service fees charged for unexpected transactions, such as reversal of payment from your credit card company, will be charged back to the member.  This policy also applies to returned checks made outside of Golf Genius.

Anyone wishing to sign up after the final deadline may contact the Golf Events & Activities Director to see if there are any open spots available. In some cases, there may be an additional charge for those signing up after the final deadline. 

Golf Event Policies
Golf events are organized play usually followed (or preceded by) a meal and awards. When registering for a golf event, the player chooses to participate in one of the formats offered for the specific date. Generally, golf events are for LPGA Amateurs Fort Worth members and their guests who are considering joining the Chapter. There are several events that are limited to members only.

Guests are welcome to participate in up to two Golf Events, Play Days, or Girl Friend Golf outings. After the second visit, we encourage guests to formally join the Fort Worth Chapter of LPGA Amateurs. Guests are not able to play in the Chapter Championship; only members with established handicaps are eligible to participate in this event.

 
Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations by attendees made two weeks prior to the registration deadline will be refunded less Golf Genius fees.
  
• Cancellations by attendees made one week prior to the registration deadline will be refunded @ 50% less Golf Genius fees.
• Cancellations by attendees made less than one week prior or after the registration deadline date will not be refunded. The attendee may find a replacement and arrange payment from them.

Cancellation of a Social Event or Golf Event is at the discretion of the Host Venue Staff, Golf Course Staff, and the LPGA Amateurs Fort Worth Golf Events & Activities Director. Every effort will be made to play as scheduled. If an event is cancelled, the Events Committee will notify attendees and players via e-mail or text message and will be fully refunded
