Event:  2021 Fall Stableford League

Date:  First Round - Sunday, September 19
Cost:  $10 Registration Fee, green fees paid at course

All LPGA Amateur members with an established handicap are welcomed and encouraged to play. This league consists of five rounds played in the months of September and October.

Tee Times: Five tee times starting at 9:33 am
Location:    Bay View Golf Club
                   1500 Country Club Dr, Milpitas, CA 95035
Cost:           $55 including cart (pay at course)

We’ve expanded registration so LPGA Amateur members can now invite a non-member friend to play at this picturesque golf course located in the San Francisco Bay Area. A handicap is not required.

Located above the Milpitas Hills, this course offers challenges to golfers of all levels. The course is located about a two-hour drive from Sacramento off Hwy 680.

In addition to enjoying a great day at this course, be sure to stop by their pro shop where you'll receive a 15% discount. Stop by the course's restaurant after you finish your round and have a bite from their innovative Pacific Asian Fusion cuisine menu.

We have five tee times reserved (9:33, 9:42, 9:51, 10:00, 10:09 and 10:18).

Casual Play

Monday Day
This 9-hole league continues year round on the second and fourth Monday of every month  in Roseville.  Contact NancyLyons ( if you are interested in the twice monthly play in Roseville. 

Tuesday "Days"

Wednesday Morning (Haggin Oaks Ladies League)
A great opportunity for new or returning golfers to play with a mentor for casual 9-Hole Play on the Arcade Creek course at Haggin Oaks.  Tee times start at 9:00 a.m.  Contact Linda Reid ( to be added to weekly email.  No weekly commitment required. 

Thursday Afternoon/Evenings

Fun Friday Play at Haggin Oaks (Haggin Oaks Ladies League)

Update About New Member Dues in 2021

New member dues will be prorated based on the quarter that they join (Classic: $120/$90/$60/$120, Senior: $85/$63.75/$42.50/$85, Y.P. & Military: $65/$48.75/$32.50/$65). All memberships purchased in the 4th quarter will expire December 31, 2022

2021 Digital Membership Cards
Based on member input, LPGA Amateurs is transitioning to Digital Membership Cards for 2021. This new format will allow you to keep your membership card handy on your phone so you won’t have to worry about misplacing or losing it. The 2021 Membership cards will be available starting mid-February and we’ll provide you with instructions at that time how to download your card. 

Golf & Group Lessons at Haggin Oaks

  • Haggin Oaks, our home course, provides each new member with a certificate to play one 18-hole round of golf on their MacKenzie Course or two 9-hole rounds on their Arcade Creek Course. All current members will receive their certificate the month following when they renew. The expiration date for all certificates is December 31, 2020.
  • Receive a 25% discount on group lessons offered by the Northern California Institute of Golf at Haggin Oaks. Contact Membership Director for discount code.

Volunteer to be part of our CHAPTER COMMUNICATIONS GROUP

We're in need of 10 to 15 volunteers to be part of our Chapter Communications Group.  You'll help by sending an email each month to remind members whose membership is up for renewal. In addition, you'll reach out to fellow LPGA Amateur members about three times a year, to personally invite them to participate in special events such as the Kickoff, Swing for the Girls, and our End of the Year Celebration.

It'll take up very little of your time each month, plus you'll have the opportunity to engage with members you might not otherwise - and might even find some new golfing partners!  Most importantly, you'll have the satisfaction of knowing you made an important contribution to the continuing success of the Sacramento Chapter of LPGA Amateurs Golf Association.

Here are the answers to some questions you may have:

WHEN?  Chapter Communications volunteers will be asked to contact at most 10-15 chapter members each month to remind them when their membership is up for renewal, and periodically invite and encourage their participation in a specific event - for example, the Annual Kickoff Brunch or a sponsor's social event.

WHERE?  Calls and emails can be made from the comfort of your home - or anywhere else that works for you.

  We want to ensure that EVERY member benefits from all the events, special activities and FUN we have to offer.  While our chapter's growth and retention rates were among the highest nationally last year - and our annual surveys have shown a high degree of member satisfaction - we are committed to doing even better this year.  We particularly want to reach out to new members so that they feel welcome, understand the various events and have an opportunity to ask questions.
