And just like that the 2024 golf season is upon us! Welcome to all our new members and welcome back to the rest of us! Many of us enjoyed the fun Tee Off on March 17th, and we received positive feedback from those who attended Juliet Little’s pre-season clinic on April 21st.
Next up…. The Opener! We are looking forward to the official launch of the season on May 5th in Jersey City. We can’t wait to see you all there. Immediately following that week is League kickoff! Let’s hope Mother Nature cooperates.

LPGA Amateurs Member ID
The process to obtain a digital Membership ID has changed and we are now using the Virtual Community instead of ID123. Members can use a digital version (screen capture of profile from Virtual Community) or a printed copy of their LPGA Amateurs Member ID (print out profile from Virtual Community or Member Clubhouse). Please note that either the new LPGA Amateurs Member ID or the printed ID card will be needed to access some member benefits, including entry to LPGA Tour events in 2024. Information regarding the process to access each of the 2024 LPGA Tour events is available here

2024 Member Referral Program
Our 2024 "Chapter Member Referral Awards Program" is in full swing! Thank you to all our members that have provided referrals so far! So far, for the 2024 season, we have 61 new members, and over fifty percent have been member referrals.
Kudos to Jean Parmelli, our super recruiter, who has already referred 14 new members this year! Although it might be difficult to catch Jean for first prize in our Awards Program, everyone who refers a new member still has a shot at a prize! So spread the word and invite your friends to join our fabulous chapter.
This program has been created to show our appreciation to those referring members and is in addition to the "Member Get a Member" drive by National. Remember…the more robust our Chapter becomes, the more events we can offer at more competitive prices! If you enjoy our Chapter, invite your friends to share the fun! All members with referrals are entered into our drawing at the end of the season. The more members you refer the greater your chances for a prize!
Registration Opens on Monday, May 13th at 8AM for the 2024 Nor'Easter Classic. This year's 4-person team scramble competition is being hosted by the Central NJ Chapter and will be held at New Jersey National Golf Club on July 15th.

Member Benefit - Visiting Chapters While Traveling
One of the unique benefits of being a member of LPGA Amateurs is visiting other Chapters while traveling and having the opportunity to meet other members and maybe even play golf! The easiest option to connect with other Chapters is to email the President of the Chapter and let them know your schedule - their contact information should be in the "About" section or in the Contact tab/form on the Chapter Website. You can also check the Chapter event calendar to see if there is an event that coincides with your travel plans. Cheers to making new friends!
