2024 ALL-ONTARIO SCRAMBLE OPEN - JUNE 1 & 2

Calling all members, guests and U.S. members - registration is now open for the 2024 All-Ontario Scramble Open, June 1 & 2! A rare shotgun start, 1:30pm tee time, dinner reception, and a whole lot of fun! Plenty of time to get your teams together, register and order the matching outfits (not a requirement, but why not?).

If there are single players out there with no team, feel free to contact the Ontario president to get you on to a team (email listed in the event description).

Volunteer

Can you juggle?   The Hamilton Burlington Chapter is volunteer run by members dedicated to ensuring we have an excellent on-course experience.

League Committee Chair
This role is central to the golf that we all enjoy.  We are looking for someone to take on this role with the opportunity to shadow and learn from our retiring League Chair.  There are resources for the role including documentation on the courses and contacts, and Golf Genius (GG) training.  Here's what the role involves:

  • After the Leadership Team has set the schedule for the season, the League Chair would do all the initial coordination with the courses selected, arrange the number of tee times required, and record the rates that the course is offering to our Members.
  • The League Chair would also:
    • Set up the course schedule in Golf Genius as courses commit to us.
    • On April 1st, build the Chapter Roster of all new and renewing members up to that date

Can you run a website?  Our website is maintained by a volunteer whose term ends this fall. One of the Chapter’s strengths is communicating with our members, and we are looking for a volunteer with experience in website content and social media management.  If this is you, we would love to have you join our team.  This role requires minimal time to do this.  Tasks include adding photos, event details and links to the website, and keeping social media content current.  Join the Communications Chair in keeping our members updated!
