LPGA Amateurs is a golf community that provides opportunities for women to learn to play, play more, make friends, and have fun!
In 2018, the Executive Women’s Golf Association (EWGA) aligned with the LPGA and LPGA Foundation to become the LPGA Amateur Golf Association. Building on the almost 30 years that the EWGA connected thousands of women through the game, the LPGA Amateurs is now part of the LPGA family which includes the LPGA Tour, Symetra Tour, LPGA Teaching and Club Professionals, LPGA*USGA Girls Golf, LPGA Leadership Academies, and LPGA Women’s Network.
The LPGA Amateurs Boston Chapter, founded in 1991, brings women together to share their passion for golf! At 400 members strong, we host golf, social, and networking events for women golfers of all abilities from Eastern Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire. Members also have the opportunity to participate in Regional and National championships and events.
Whether you’re a beginner taking your first lessons, or an experienced lifelong golfer, you’ll find a home here with LPGA Amateurs Boston. Our members are interesting women with a variety of experiences from diverse backgrounds. We reflect a cross-section of women (working, non-working, and retired) in various industries including financial services, real estate, advertising, healthcare, technology, accounting, retail, government, education, legal and law enforcement.
Our mission is to provide women with ample opportunities to participate in the golf activities they enjoy. And we take our fun seriously! We offer more than 30 weekend playing opportunities from April through October, and weekly 9-hole golf leagues from May through August. We offer a complimentary Mentor program for beginning golfers, discounts on equipment and apparel, educational golf clinics, Meetup groups and competitive tournaments too. We offer a wide range of events and benefits to appeal to all skill levels.
