  • MGA Team Club Tournament

"Heather carried me all day, so why stop now"...
Team Club was held Sept 19 at Brookview.Golf Course. Our LPGA Amateur league has club status with the MGA and so our members with a GHIN handicap may participate in MGA events. We had seven 2-person teams and 5 Members who teamed with non-members to participate.

Congratulations to Heather and Janette for winning 1st Place in their flight. Their 85 was the lowest score of all the afternoon flights.  Nice playing ladies.  Angie and Karey tied for 2nd in their flight.

Our Chapter was one of 15 Clubs represented in the Team Club competition and we tied for 2nd place ~ way to go MN Metro LPGA Amateurs!

  • Brookview Team Wins National Virtual Scramble!

Congratulations to the Brookview Birdie-alicious team of Rhoda Ailts, Rose Gumz, Amy Anderson, Katie Kruchten for winning First Place, Low Net at 20 under, Net 52 in the LPGA Amateur Virtual Scramble.

This was a huge accomplishment as 192 LPGA Amateurs teams from Chapters around the country participated. The team played their round at Braemar Golf Course on Labor Day in not the best of weather conditions.

  • Coming Up - Board Elections

As an all-volunteer organization, it's very important our members step up and serve because our Board makes all the Chapter golf and social events, communications and sponsors possible.

For our upcoming new year, there will be 3 open positions: President (1 year term), Director of Golf and Director of Marketing (2 year terms). Please consider running for one of these positions. The Board would be happy to give you information regarding these positions. Just email us at: admin@lpgaamateursmnmetro.com.

Remember: Unless someone steps up to make it happen, nothing happens.
