Volunteer
MN Metro Chapter Leadership Nominations – Opens September 1, 2026

We are nearing the time of year for position nominations and voting. We have several positions that need to be filled before the end of the year. All roles are supported by our national organization and offer ongoing training. All positions noted participate in monthly board meetings and the fall planning session. As a thank you to volunteers holding committee chair positions, they are granted early access to Spring league sign up.

To submit a nomination, please go to our website to download the form or simply provide the information in an email to Wendy Traxler.

Treasurer/Secretary: 2-year term
* Compliance with Chapter and Association Policies
* Financial Oversight
> Ensures accuracy of Chapter bank account(s) and financial reports
> Ensures Chapter leaders have appropriate Billhighway access
> Processes payments, invoices and pre-paid card load requests in a timely manner
> Works with Chapter Board to develop / monitor budget
> Reviews and provides Monthly/Year-end financial reports to the Chapter Board
> Files required financial Chapter Minimum Standards with LPGA HQ
* Approximately 4-6 hours per month

Vice President Elect
* Shadows the President to ensure smooth transition to President role in November 2027
* Assists with misc tasks as needed
* Approximately 2 hours required per month

League Chair: 2-year term
* Plans and oversees golf leagues and captains, communications, relations with golf courses and league captains, and payment procedures.
* Oversees league information and documents for Spring Tee-off event in coordination with league captains.
* Ensures consistent experiences for members across leagues
* Approximately 2-4 hours required per month

Membership Chair: 2-year term
* Develop chapter membership initiatives and programs, new member recruitment/onboarding events and retention outreach and coordination
* Help recruit volunteers to support membership initiatives when needed
* Attend board meetings to report on current membership initiatives and results
* Approximately 2-4 hours required per month

Marketing Chair: 2-year term
* Oversees chapter marketing efforts to create visibility for potential members
* Help recruit volunteers for social media and website positions when needed
* Attend board meetings to report on current marketing efforts
* Approximately 2-4 hours required per month
