About Us

Our Mission

To provide opportunities for women to learn, play, and enjoy the game of golf for business and for life.

The LPGA AMATEUR GOLF ASSOCIATION, formerly known as Executive Women's Golf Association was founded in 1991 by a group of 28 women in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Since then it has become the largest women’s golf organization in the world with over 20,000 members in the US and Canada

Our chapter is located in and around Research Triangle Park. Golfers of all skill levels come from Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Chapel Hill, Morrisville, Mebane, Garner, Wake Forest, and even Pinehurst, the Sandhills and surrounding areas in the heart of North Carolina.

Whether you are a new golfer looking for a welcoming environment to learn the game, or an accomplished player seeking the challenges of our Association championship series, we are here to meet your needs.

Our activities include weeknight 9-hole leagues, weekend 18-hole outings, championship competition, golf clinics, etiquette seminars, and other social events. You'll find a friendly, inclusive environment for networking with other (with other women from all walks of life)  businesswomen.

Whether you're looking for an occasional round of informal golf, or a chance to play regularly with other avid golfers, we are here!
