  • PGA TOUR Superstore Named Presenting Partner of the 2026 LPGA Amateurs Virtual Scramble

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The LPGA Amateur Golf Association is proud to announce PGA TOUR Superstore as the official presenting partner of the 2026 LPGA Amateurs Virtual Scramble, taking place July 10 through August 2.

This presenting partnership marks a significant expansion of PGA TOUR Superstore’s dedicated support for the LPGA Amateurs community. Already serving as a vital partner through initiatives like the Hole-In-One sponsorship and exclusive member shopping discounts, PGA TOUR Superstore is deepening its investment in women’s golf experiences. Together, the two organizations are teaming up to provide expanded playing opportunities, foster a stronger connection to members, drive localized chapter involvement, and elevate friendly competition across the United States and abroad.

“PGA TOUR Superstore offers a natural alignment between retail golf leadership and our digital fundraising experience,” said Laura Diaz, Senior Director Social Impact and Operations for the LPGA. “We are honored to partner together to make the 2026 Virtual Scramble our most impactful and memorable tournament yet.”

“There’s just something about golf that brings people together, out on the course or playing along in things like the LPGA’s Amateurs Virtual Scramble,” said Rebecca Charles, Chief Customer Officer, PGA TOUR Superstore. “The energy and momentum in women’s golf right now is unreal. It’s all coming from a community that shows up for the connection, the competition, and honestly just the joy of getting out and playing.”

Created in 2020 to maintain community connection and eng

age golfers nationwide, the Virtual Scramble has grown into a highly successful digital fundraising experience, raising $160,000 to date. The event allows LPGA Amateurs members from the United States, Canada, Bermuda, Bahamas, and the Dominican Republic to compete together regardless of their physical location.

The format features four players per team competing in a standard four-person scramble at any course of their choosing that is a par-72. Teams may choose to play in the Competitive Division (handicaps & scorecards required) or the Fun Division. Prizes are awarded based on Gross and Net scores for first, second and third place in each division, with participants also having the chance to win individual prizes through side contests. As a bonus, non-members who join the Virtual Scramble will receive a complimentary LPGA Amateurs Virtual Community Membership.

All proceeds from entry fees directly benefit the Women on Par Scholarship and Grant established in 2007, the scholarship supports non-traditional female students over the age of 30 pursue higher education for the first time. More than 40 women have successfully obtained college degrees since the scholarship was created. Launched in 2025, the grant is designed to help women get “on par” by expanding access to the many benefits the game of golf can provide

To elevate the prestige of this year’s event, PGA TOUR Superstore is providing premium tournament prizes and awards for participants. This

includes donating PGA TOUR Superstore gift cards to the top-performing teams across both the Gross and Net competition divisions. This added incentive directly enhances the experience for more than 2,400 registered participants representing hundreds of local chapters.

“We are grateful to PGA TOUR Superstore for its ongoing investment in LPGA Amateurs and for partnering with us on the 2026 LPGA Amateurs Virtual Scramble,” said Kristin Bailey, Director of Chapters and Membership for the LPGA Amateur Golf Association. “Their support helps advance our mission of enriching lives through the game of golf, most notably through the Women on Par Scholarship and Grant.”

One of the best parts of being an LPGA Amateurs member is the chance to connect with like-minded women across the globe- and two Chapters just took that to the next level!

Thanks to GOLFZON’s cutting-edge technology, players competed in real-time, synchronized play - despite being hundreds of miles apart!

Each Chapter fielded eight members, paired into teams of two, for a friendly but fierce Chapter vs. Chapter showdown. The result? A tie game, a ton of laughs, and a shared win in camaraderie. Both Chapters received facility credits to enjoy more simulator time at their local GOLFZON facility.

We have shared information to get started with Chapters Leaders - but if this sounds like something you’d like to help coordinate or participate in, let your local Chapter Leaders know!
