Help Wanted: Our 2027 Season Depends on You!

Our chapter runs entirely on volunteer power. To keep things going, we need your help! Several of our dedicated volunteers who have been stepping up for the last few years are ready for a well-deserved break. Without new hands on deck, the amazing events and tournaments we love simply cannot happen.

With 150 members in our chapter, we want to make sure the work is shared. In the past, Board members have worn many hats to pick up the slack, but we need our community to help us spread the load!

Our official season runs from November 1st to October 31st. Please review the open roles below for the upcoming 2026–2027 season and consider where you can lend a hand.

Critical Board Positions

• Vice President / President-Elect (1-Year Commitment)

  • How it works: Step into a non-voting Vice President role for the remainder of this current season to learn the ropes, then transition into the President role for the 2027 season.

  • Communications Director (2-Year Commitment)

  • What you’ll do: Maintain and update the chapter website and manage our social media channels to keep our members connected and informed.

 Committee Chairs & Training Roles

• Events Director-in-Training

  • Learn the skills and tricks needed to eventually take charge while helping to set the upcoming event calendar.

• Social Committee Chair

  • Bring your creativity! Use your imagination to plan our fun, off-course mixers and social gatherings.

• Travel Committee Chair

  • Coordinate just one 2-night overnight excursion for the chapter.

• Tournament/Games Committee Chair

  • Supervise 2–3 tournaments during the chapter calendar and organize fun, casual formats/games for 2–3 regular scheduled events.

• Spirit Award Committee Chair

  • Help celebrate our members by overseeing the selection and presentation of our annual Spirit Award.

• Election Committee Chair

  • Help keep our chapter running smoothly by managing the annual election process and actively seeking out candidates and replacements for the upcoming year.
